In the center the teaching process combines both theory and practice. First children learn to paint (reproduction, nature mort, composition, ornaments, drawing, making sketches etc).
The group is completed with machine-tools and the instruments, with the usage technology of which children get acquainted during the lessons. Before learning wood-engraving children get acquainted with the tools and the safety rules while working with them.    
The type of the wood which is used is from beech tree and lime-tree. The wood is dried, manufactured                 preliminary, is sawed and planed according to the sizes of sketches prepared beforehand and is distributed to the children. Then the sketches are copied to the wood and are engraved. The children learn ornamental and flat engraving.     
Children master making plates, candlesticks and vases with the help of machine tools and the part of them is engraved with ornaments.
In the practical curriculum of the group are included making of internal and external frames, which are used for the embroideries.
During the teaching process children also get acquainted with the secrets of woodcarving and furniture-making, as well as with its history and the ways of working. Parallel to the teaching great attention is paid to children’s overall aesthetic and religious education.
The children form the group very often participate in exhibitions and are evaluated in the best way.
