In the embroidery group children are taught to find out and develop their creative abilities through contemporary and useful methods through technical, art and handicraft trainings.

Besides making different beautiful and expressive wonderful art works (by thread and needle) and the ability to notice and feel the beauty, great attention is paid to children’s overall intellectual development as well as to their moral and religious education.   

During the trainings children get acquainted with the dawn of embroidery history, its ways of development and the types of sewing (Aintap, Marash etc.). After embroidering simple sewing children learn to draw sketches and make different embroidery works with them. During the teaching process children learn to choose the appropriate fabric and to embroider lace, satin-stitch, counting works with the appropriate thread, to make handkerchiefs with Armenian ornaments as well as do simple and difficult hem stitch works etc.  Parallel to embroidery children learn gobelin making.

Children’s creative hand-works were often exhibited and by their marvelous and tender colors they won everybody’s admiration.
