Among the ancient people its own place has Armenians with their different types of crafts and arts. And it worth mentioning especially carpet making. The national and cultural heritages are kept and are exhibited in the museums.
The carpets, rugs and other handy made things used in everyday life symbolized the welfare and the luxury Armenian mode of life.
The carpet making group of “Endanik” center aims to pass to the younger generation the skills and abilities of  craftsmen by combining modern with it.
The children from carpet making group learn to make details of national clothes – hats, bags (khurjin), shoes, apron etc.
In carpet making group children use ornaments of animals and plants which have their symbolic meanings.
Children attend the lessons with great pleasure. The best works of the group were presented in exhibitions organized both in the center and in the city which were highly appreciated. And one of the more interesting facts is – children can work out new sketches and work with them.
